Names.co.uk

Names.co.uk is an excellent all-inclusive UK-based domain registrar. They offer services such as domain registration, SSL certificates, web hosting, and site design. As far as usability and functionality is concerned this site is a 10 in my book. The interface is very user-friendly and they pride themselves on their intuitive services. In addition, customer service is great here.

The option of private domain registration is available at Names.co.uk. However, it is on the expensive side at 42 pence a month. They also offer a service to re-register a public domain name to make it private which is something that many other domain registrars overlook.

Bulk domain registration is easy at Names.co.uk. You can enter in as many domain names as you would like then register a large group at one time. A domain management service is available to help you manage bulk domains at an additional cost. In my opinion, this service is a worthwhile add-on if managing multiple domains because their skilled professionals will make your life easier.

Access levels and delegating at Names.co.uk is fairly straightforward. It is easy to edit, add, or delete administrative or technical contacts. If you choose to purchase their domain management option then this can be done for you with ease.

The pricing at Names.co.uk is on par with similar registrars. The prices range from around 10 pounds to around 80 pounds depending upon the requested extension. They also offer discounts when you commit to two or three years rather than just one. Their site making tool is diverse and functional and it costs between just 5 and 9 pounds per month depending upon the chosen option.

One great feature of Names.co.uk is the ability to back order domain names that are already taken. Not all domain registrars have this option but Names.co.uk does and they make it very easy for the buyer to express an interest and put the domain name on hold until it becomes available.

The only real downside of Names.co.uk is their lack of extensions. They offer a total of 16 extensions which is more than enough for the average buyer purchasing domains. However, for someone looking to purchase all domain extensions for certain keywords this would not be the place to start.

Taking into account all the wonderful services and reasonable prices it is easy to overlook the lack of extensions at Names.co.uk. If you are looking for a full-service domain registrar then this is the place to go and if you can spare the money for their domain management option I am confident you will not have to go anywhere else in the future.
