With each domain name registration, the following services are included at no extra charge: email forwarding, URL redirect, URL cloaking, sub-domains, DNS parking, and 60-days of website hosting. Domain privacy service (the ability to hide your info from others) is available for just $5 per year, per domain. Email accounts, ftp access, MySQL hosting, daily statistics, a 99.5% uptime guarantee, and a satisfaction guarantee are included with all hosting packages.

Active Domain offers website hosting on their sister site, active-venture.com/. The starter plan includes 400mb of disk space, 5gb of monthly transfer (bandwidth) and is available for just $9.95/month. On the other end of the scale, their premium plan includes 1000mb of disk space, 25gb of bandwidth, a dedicated IP address, and is available for only $49.95 per month.

One of the key factors to website popularity and traffic, is the number of inbound links a site attracts. Recognizing this as a key component of success, Active Domain offers tips, and resources regarding inbound linking at http://www.active-domain.com/link-popularity.

In addition to inbound links, Active Domain also offers advice on Internet Marketing (advertising and operating your own website based business), and website design tips. According to Active Domain your website should be clean, uncluttered, and attractive. The graphics and text should be well laid out, and it should have a fast load time (this is where their website hosting comes into play). Active Domain recommends that load times for your website be no more than 18 seconds at maximum, and preferably below 12 seconds. Any longer, and your site is more likely to experience the "click of death". That is, visitors get frustrated with waiting for your site to load, and simply leave.

Payment types accepted for all services include: Paypal, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover. Customer questions can be directed to their support desk at http://support.domainpanel.com/.
