One downside of Sedo.com is that they do not offer bulk registrations of domains. Each keyword search has to be done one at a time which is time consuming for those looking to purchase or manage bulk domains. They also contain the domain price which makes it easy to see exactly what you have to pay to obtain that domain. 

The most significant downside of this site is the lack of any sort of keyword alert. Searching for domains is made far more difficult than most other sites that provide an alert whenever a keyword you are interested in becomes available. Again, this site is really geared more towards the domain seller than the buyer.
