NameSecure

NameSecure is a domain registrar that offers all the necessities at a fairly reasonable price. They truly shine in terms of their web hosting packages as they include a lot of convenient extras. The site itself is extremely functional and quite easy to use. Their motto is "The Simple Way to do Domains" and they do live up to that.

Private domain registration is available at $9.95 per year which is about average. One nice thing about NameSecure is that if you purchase domain privacy the cost of your domain registration actually goes down. Add on e-mail and web hosting and it decreases even more.

Bulk domain registration is very straightforward here and they even have a program called Domains@Discount that provides fairly sizeable discounts for registering multiple domains. Management is quite easy with their effective interface but access to DNS service management does cost $4.50 per domain.

Another thing NameSecure does well is web forwarding, domain masking, and delegating. All of these are included within the price and they are simple to access and use. In addition, they offer free lock protect security and the option to change registration information at any time.

Pricing at NameSecure is pretty easy to follow which is a nice change from some of the most confusing systems that other registrars use. Domains are either $14.95 or $24.95 depending upon the desired extension. Quite a lot of the "extras" do come at a price, though. Web hosting here is a great deal at $11 to $40 per month.

In fact, web hosting is probably the best part about this site. They offer free tools including plenty of storage, mailboxes, SSL certificates, a site builder, and web statistics package. These are just a few of the many services offered so if you are looking to register and host a domain then this is an excellent option.

The only thing I do not like about NameSecure is that if you register a domain name they will automatically add to your cart the same keywords with other extensions even though you did not select them. It is easy enough to uncheck each unwanted selection but it seems a bit tricky that they do this.

Overall, NameSecure is a great place to register domains but more significantly it is an ideal choice for web hosting. There is truly nothing left to be desired in terms of hosting.
