MyDomain

The all-inclusive domain registrar MyDomain.com offers all vital services for domain purchasing, hosting, web site design, and SSL certificates. They offer many free services with the registration of a domain. In terms of using the site and its ability to function effectively, I have no complaints.

MyDomain.com offers private registrations at an additional cost of just under $9 per year. They will automatically add this on and charge you for a private registration unless you choose specifically not to register privately.

Bulk domain name searches are not an option at MyDomain.com but you are able to register multiple extensions for one domain name with ease. Managing bulk domains is easy with their free web-based DNS management that is included with every domain purchase. It is a very straightforward interface to manage single or bulk domains.

Access levels and delegating are easy at MyDomain.com, too. They actually offer some of the best tools for management in general. Not only are they easy to use but they are also plentiful. In fact, for somone new to domain management it might even be a bit overwhelming but for someone who is looking to expand upon their domains then these tools are hugely beneficial.

Most domains at MyDomain.com can be registered for just $9.99 which is a really reasonable price. Some of their premium domains cost thousands of dollars, though. Hosting costs between $3.75 and $13.75 per month depending upon package choice. Their hosting plans come with a variety of free marketing tools which makes the price quite reasonable.

One thing I like about MyDomain.com is that they offer free applications for your sites that many other domain registrars charge to include. For example, a Word Press blog is free when you host a site at MyDomain.com but it costs up to $4 per month at other domain registrars.

There is very little that I do not like about MyDomain.com. I can see how it may be a bit overwhelming for someone who is new to domain management, however. They have a lot to offer and their site and interface can sometimes appear a bit busy.

MyDomain.com is a great all-around domain registrar. There is certainly nothing missing in terms of services and products that are offered including some of the least expensive SSL certificates I have ever encountered. It is certainly one of the better sites out there for experienced individuals or newbies who are willing to accept the fact that there will be a learning curve.
