DomainSite

DomainSite.com is a domain registrar powered by Name.com that offers some unique products and services. For instance, their “Domain Nabber” tool is a great feature for those who are looking to make money through domain registration. The hosting services that they offer are sub-par but otherwise Domain Site is an effective registrar with a functional control panel.

Bulk registration is something that Domain Site does extremely well. Not only do they have a specific tool for registering bulk domains but they offer discounted packages. For example, you can save 25% if you purchase your domain in .com, .net, and .org. This is really appealing if you are looking to protect brand identity. In addition, the control panel makes bulk management easy.

Pricing at Domain Site is very reasonable if not just slightly above average. For example, a .com domain costs $10.99 for one year while a .travel costs $99 for one year. The prices include ICANN fees but private domain registration is separate and costs an additional $1.99 per domain registered. They do not often have sales or discounts which makes understanding their pricing simple.

One excellent tool offered by Domain Site is their Domain Nabber which I mentioned above. This tool analyzes high traffic domain names that have registrations that will expire within the next couple of days. It is a great way for those looking to purchase and register a number of high traffic domain names to make some money. Essentially, this tool does some of the major work for you.

I do not like the hosting services offered by Domain Site, however. They are new to offering web hosting and it is fairly evident in terms of server options and capabilities. With that said, however, the pricing is excellent for web hosting and the packages come with everything you need for basic sites. If you are looking for a one stop shop then there are better options but if you just need a simple, quick site then Domain Site will suffice.

Overall, I recommend Domain Site for anyone looking to register bulk domains or possibly “nab” some expired domains. It is a functional and effective site that offers all the necessary tools to register, renew, or transfer domains at a reasonable price. The additional products that they offer are the icing on the cake in terms of domain registration. While I do believe better hosting packages exist I still think this is a great site for registration.
