Reg2c

Reg2C.com is a domain registrar that stands for registrar to customer and offers services such as domain name registration, web hosting, e-mail services, and SSL certificates. The site itself, much like the interface, is busy with lots of banners and scrolling advertisements that make it a bit distracting. The interface is functional in terms of features such as access levels and delegating, domain parking, etc. but it is certainly not user-friendly. It is full of bright colors and somewhat distracting buttons and commands. Reg2C.com does have some beneficial features to offer potential customers, though.

One nice thing about Reg2C.com is that they offer a Domain Crawler tool that allows users to enter in keywords then the tool finds relevant domain names that are available to register. It is a free download and a very effective tool. Unfortunately, if you do choose to register domains with them you cannot make them private. After you have registered the domain you are able to change the contact information free of charge but the initial registration will not be private. Overall, though, the Domain Crawler tool is one of the best components on the site as it allows for extensive TLDs and potential registrations.

Pricing at Reg2C.com is comparable to other registrars. Most TLDs cost around $9.99 per year including .com and they come with some beneficial services including free basic hosting, DNS modification, domain name parking, domain transfer lock, and a fairly helpful guidance section for those who are new to domain management. Bulk domains are discounted but not substantially. Reg2C.com does have a bulk domain registration tool that makes registering large numbers of domains very straightforward. However, the control panel is not conducive to managing bulk domains. As I previously mentioned, I find it to be distracting and difficult to navigate.

Overall, Reg2C.com is a fairly average domain registrar that offers an excellent tool in their Domain Crawler but lacks an effective control panel. The site offers quite a few free services that come along with registration, though, so if you are willing to get past the “busy” interface then it is worth trying out. Since registering bulk domains is easy and fairly inexpensive it would be a good place to do so as long as the control panel was something that you could get used to working around. I would not recommend it to someone new to domain management, though, as their customer support section is lacking.
