A domain name purchase can go for as low as $14.48 for a year and as high as $157.99 for a 2 year plan, under their current special discounted price. Cloud hosting runs for as low as $12.95/mo. and includes Windows or Linux platform. Other hosting services, such as the c-Panel, run for a mere $7.95/mo. Free with every domain name is a business profile page, URL and email forwarding, and DNS management. The new domain management system includes an ID protection feature which is essential for any web based business. Additionally, registrants have the ability to auto create Google app entries through the zone management interface. This feature allows businesses and individuals to broaden their visibility and availability, and stay current with the trend and usability of apps.

I like the fact that Planet Domain offers “freebies” and discounted domain plans as well as their technical supportive services and accessibility. This registrar prides themselves on being available for their clients, globally, with a high quality of service at a low price, something that most competitors lack. That said, I think the time difference, as they are based in Australia, can be tricky when trying to obtain supportive services. Also, Australian servers and domains are highlighted and guarantee more options.

In summation, I would use this domain name registrar for its economic value and efficient supportive services. When it comes to choosing a domain name or creating a web site the process can be daunting and frustrating. However, Planet Domain contains affordable plans and various tools—DNS hosting, market optimization, and a DIY web site builder, to name a few—that make the process painless and easy.
