Nettica

Nettica is a unique domain registrar in the sense that it makes it very clear what you get with each option. It costs more than most sites but in terms of domain management tools is it far and above most of the other registrars. It is easy to use and has high functionality in terms of bulk management.

Private domain registration is included with the $20 domain registration fee. All domains at Nettica cost $20 to register and this includes: web-based management, WHOIS privacy, and primary DNS management which is a fairly basic service. Most would prefer to upgrade to secondary DNS management.

It is strange that registering bulk domains at Nettica is inconvenient considering their bulk domain management is far better than other registrars. There is no tool available to register bulk domains but their management system costs $50 per year and provides excellent templates, complete freedom for the user, organized groups, and a very helpful search tool.

Access levels and delegating are something else that Nettica does well. DNS management costs $10 per year per domain which is a bit high but discounts are available with multiple domains. For example, 50 domains costs just $50 per year. They provide all the essential tools and then some when it comes to management.

Another great thing about Nettica is that they offer an insurance of sorts through their Nettica FailSafe program that provides 24 hour monitoring services as well as monthly and weekly reports that provide vital statistics in terms of marketing websites and monitoring security. This costs between $10 and $300 per year depending upon how often you want the site checked.

The only thing I really do not like about Nettica is that they are a bit cold in terms of customer service. They do not have the best reputation for assisting customers with questions. In addition, their site itself is a bit cold and uninteresting. Also, e-mail services are bit expensive at Nettica at $50 for 5 mailboxes and $100 for 10 mailboxes with additional costs for services.

Overall, Nettica is an excellent site especially if you are looking for some of the best DNS management available. It may be a bit more expensive but it is worth it for the variety of tools and options that it provides in terms of bulk management. If you need constant support, however, Nettica is probably not the best choice.
