NearlyFreeSpeech

NearlyFreeSpeech is a web hosting company that cares and commits deeply to their customer and potential clients. Founded in January of 2002, NearlyFreeSpeech believes that the government is not a threat to free speech, but the main threat and ultimately the most common comes from corporations and entities. It's an almost daily occurrence that an attorney somewhere is threatening to sue because someone said something a company or corporation didn't like. NearlyFreeSpeech knew exactly where to draw the line, and what the legal protection to free speech actually is. As a result, they have been able to establish a successful web hosting service where their customers can utilize free speech legitimately and legally. NearlyFreeSpeech is located in The Woodlands, Texas, and the company is owned by NFSN Inc.

NearlyFreeSpeech is a medium sized web hosting company. NearlyFreeSpeech.NET does not have employees, all of their work is done by shareholders, vendors, or independent contractors. They will occasional hand out tasks to individuals, but those payments are not to be meant as full time income. NearlyFreeSpeech hosts approximately 1470 domains. It is difficult to determine how much NFSN earned in 2011. Earlier in 2012, the company received a letter from the UK Treasury Solicitor's office, complaining about content on websites and demanding that NearlyFreeSpeech remove the content. The refuse to do so, and feel the will prevail in any legal action that is taken against them. That is the main core of their existence: to promote free speech.

NearlyFreeSpeech offers a variety of services to satisfy your web hosting needs. The offer two different types of hosting services with different cost structures. They offer Dynamic web sites (depending up scripting), and those prices are a basic fee of .01/day plus bandwidth and storage charges. They also offer Static Site service, but because they offer more complex features, those prices are not set at a baseline. You only pay for the bandwidth and storage that is used. You can pay with a credit card and depending on which service you select you have the option to "pay as you go" by making a deposit and working off of that amount until you run out.

NearlyFreeSpeech is a unique web-hosting platform that is perfect for those venues that wish to express their opinion without fear of censorship or having their site closed or banned. A must-try for anyone that falls under that category.
