NamesBeyond

NamesBeyond.com is an excellent full-service domain registrar that is easy to use and offers hosting services, SSL certificates, and reseller accounts as well. Overall usability and management at Names Beyond is functional and basic. The control panel is easy to use when it comes to things like access levels and delegating but it leaves something to be desired in terms of customer service assistance. While they claim to be available 24/7 they are often hard to get in touch with which always makes me a bit wary. The troubleshooting section is fairly limited, too. However, if you are not new to domain management then the control panel should not be an issue for you.

The pricing at Names Beyond is a bit variable but there are no coupons or discounts which is something that I like. Most extensions cost around $10 to register for one year including .com or .net. However, some of the country extensions cost up to $175 to register for one year. Other pricing at Names Beyond is comparable with similar registrars. For instance, private domain registration is offered for an additional $9.99 per year and domain renewal costs about the same as registration for all the extensions.

Bulk domain registration and management is something that Names Beyond does fairly well. This is one thing I really like about the site because they offer a unique tool for bulk registrations which makes it easy to register bulk domains. There are no sizeable discounts for bulk registrations which is a downside. As I previously mentioned, the control panel is fairly basic which makes bulk management straightforward. Forwarding bulk domains is free which is also a nice addition but transferring them costs between $8 and $100 per domain depending upon the extension.

Overall, there are some things that I like about this site including the unique business center they offer to help with marketing and website development. The pricing is also reasonable and their hosting services are a nice addition. However, the lack of customer service leads me to recommend that anyone brand new to domain management stays away. If you have experience managing domains, though, and are looking for a well-rounded one stop shop in terms of bulk domain registration then Names Beyond is a decent option. Take a look at their business center for some helpful tips and strategies for marketing websites if that is something that you are interested in pursuing.
