NameScout.com

Namescout.com is an extremely easy to use site for registering domains and hosting websites. It is user friendly in the sense that it is easy to navigate and lacks any advertisements or inconveniently placed content. Searching for available domain names is easy and selecting a package to host a site is also a breeze.

SSL certificates from Namescout.com can be added on to a package for between $17 and $550 per year which is a bit hefty. However, you get what you pay for and you can be confident that your domain will be secure and private. All packages do come firewall protected at no additional cost and they are also monitored at all times.

Bulk management is a strength of Namescout.com. You can upload multiple domain names to be registered and/or hosted by simply uploading one document. In addition, their domain manager tool is very well organized and makes it easy to edit one, two, or all domains at one time. It is also easy to set reminders to update domains which are beneficial when managing multiple sites.

A weakness of Namescout.com is access levels and delegating. It is difficult to assign certain privileges to specific individuals. Someone who wishes to delegate domain management to multiple individuals would be better off choosing another site for their purposes.

The pricing at Namescout.com is comparable to similar services. For $5 a month, you can get their basic package with ten e-mail addresses, a fast and secure domain, and an extremely developer friendly site. There are three additional packages that are $10, $25, and $70 per month. These have additional space and e-mail addresses.

Deals, coupons, and promotional codes are available for Namescout.com but they come and go seemingly randomly. Using web searches for coupons or promotional codes will generally produce out of date results. However, as previously mentioned, the prices are quite reasonable without coupons.

Namescout.com is an ideal place for small businesses to find the ideal domain name and host their site. It is easy to use and has great customer service as well as multiple package options to suit the needs of almost any business. However, if access levels and delegating is important to you then look elsewhere for a domain management option. Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone who is new to domain management or is seeking a better domain name and web hosting option.
