Misk

Misk.com is an excellent domain registrar because of its simplicity combined with its usability. It is a straightforward site with an interface that is extremely intuitive because it is set up almost like an e-mail inbox with which most of us are familiar. This unique set up makes domain management easy whether it is one site or many.

Domain privacy is not offered here on its own but it is available through a package called Domain Essentials which provides a variety of useful tools and information. All domains that are registered through Misk should get the Domain Essentials package that they offer.

The bulk domain tool offered by Misk is fairly straightforward and it does allow users to list as many keywords as they would like. However, it is slightly inconvenient in the sense that users must also put in a desired extension for each and every keyword which is tedious.

Their bulk management tools, however, are excellent. Misk provides a variety of reports that other registrars often overlook and of course they give users the opportunity to change and edit all of their domains at one time.

Access levels and delegating are basic here as well. The management tools that Misk provides allows users to assign different levels to others such as technical, maintenance, and administrative.

Pricing here is clear which is a refreshing difference from many other domain registrars. It either costs $10 per year or $20 per year depending upon the extension. They do not offer coupons or sales which makes it simple.

One great thing about Misk is their Domain Essentials package which costs just $25 per year. It has absolutely everything needed to get started including security certificates, e-mail accounts, hosting, domain forwarding, SPAM and virus filtering in the e-mail, custom 404 pages, form mail support, and much more.

There is really nothing that I do not like about Misk except maybe that it can be a bit too simplistic for certain purposes. For basic purposes, however, the simplicity is actually quite nice and makes using their interface quick and easy.

Overall, Misk is an ideal domain registrar for the average domain manager. However, it does lack some of the more complex tools so if you are someone looking for more advanced site management then this may not be the best choice. It is great for a one stop shop and a domain registration starter.
