GKG

GKG.net is a basic domain registrar with all the necessary services but lacking some of the bells and whistles of other registrars. The interface is a bit simplistic but not in a good way. It is lacking some tools for more advanced domain management. In addition, simply looking at the homepage at GKG.net gives me little confidence in their ability to assist with web design even if they do link to a partner site for this service.

Private domain registration services are offered at GKG.net for $7.95 per year which is essentially on par if not slightly more expensive then comparable domain registrars. They do an excellent job of explaining exactly what you get when you choose to register a domain name privately in their FAQ section.

One thing they do quite well at GKG.net is bulk domain registration. Users can register up to 500 domain names at a time which is quite a bit higher than most other sites. Unfortunately, their bulk domain management tools are somewhat lacking. The control panel that they provide is too basic and while it has most of the necessary tools, it is sometimes a challenge to find them. Access levels and delegating are possible with their domain management tools but again, they are difficult to find.

If you are looking for an economy package to purchase, register, and host your domain then GKG.net may be a good choice. They do not offer coupons but their pricing is really low. Registration costs are about average and span from $8 to $30 per year. However, hosting costs between just $3.39 and $16.99 per month and has all the necessary elements. Even their standard SSL certificates are affordable at just under $20 per year.

One thing I like about GKG.net is their domain parking service offered at a low price. It is a great way to benefit from unused domains. My biggest issue with this site is its lack of organization both as a website and as a domain management service. While it provides the tools it is missing a user-friendly atmosphere.

Overall, this site does not compare to other domain registrars. It is lacking a functionality that other sites exhibit. It might be useful to register large quantities of bulk domains or park unused domains. It is also quite inexpensive but you get what you pay for. There are better organized domain registrars out there.
