March 22 was the date ICANN announced the new gTLDs that passed Initial Evaluation. The first 27 applications passed without any objections at all. New sources have also confirmed that applicant can start their contract as early as 23 April 2013.

The time-frame for the other applications is planned to be released each week. The applications that pass Initial Evaluation will be announced 30 strings at a time and hoping to increase that number to 100 per week. ICANN's plan is to have all Initial Evaluations completed and posted by the end of August 2013.
