If you're selling fake Angry Birds merchandise, you'd better watch out because Rovio Entertainment, the company behind the popular app Angry Birds is coming after you. Recently filing their first ever domain dispute under the UDRP, the company is targetting domain owners of the site AngryBirdSite.com and AngryBirdsmart.com.
Entering site AngryBirdSite.com currently shows an Angry Bird's Mart page selling the popular Angry Birds merchandise (shoes, caps, iphone cases, clocks etc). They are clearly selling counterfeit goods using the brand's name and merchandise to make a profit.
The site AngryBirdsmart.com currently says the domain has expired but clearly still shows in its registration that it still has a year left.
